Plans have been submitted to install signs for a "luxury" dessert spot outside a former Watford restaurant.
The borough council received an application on Monday (February 13) for illuminated signage with Haute Dolci branding outside the former Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
According to a newsletter sent out late last year by Watford Business Improvement District (BID), the dessert restaurant is “coming soon” to the space, near the High Street atria entrance.

The chain, founded by the same man who created Heavenly Desserts, bills itself as a “luxury” brand.
Its website says: “We use only the finest ingredients, sourced from gourmet food suppliers around the world, and bring them together with the care and precision a work of fine art deserves.
“There are no compromises here and the commitment to quality is total.”
The plan is currently pending consideration and if approved would involve three illuminated signs reading “HD” and “Haute I Dolci”.
