A large office building on an industrial estate in Watford is to be demolished.
The Orient Centre site in Greycaine Road will be replaced by three new units along with a fourth unit in a car park.
The plans approved by Watford Borough Council at a meeting last night (December 6) will see new “modern” employment space provided.
The Orient Centre is a two-storey building consisting of three office units and accompanied by 80 parking spaces.

The application was unanimously approved. Some concerns had been raised from residents in Tudor Walk about the size of the proposal but the committee was satisfied by amendments made by the applicant and no one spoke against the scheme at the meeting.
