New photos have shown the progress of the construction of Watford’s tallest building to date.
The 24-storey tower in Ascot Road, by Morrisons, is nearing completion with residents set to begin moving in from spring 2023.
All of the homes will be rented with American developer Cortland adopting a build-to-rent type model that has seen rapid growth across the pond.

The tower, which can be spotted from parts of Watford and Three Rivers, will include 135 homes and retail space on the ground floor.
It is a part of the wider Cortland Cassiobury development, which is currently 485 homes, but has the potential to expand to around 800.
Furnishings inside the building still need to be undertaken and scaffolding is still to come down, but the building looks to have reached its peak, comfortably eclipsing the pair of 1960s tower blocks on the Meriden estate.

The tower, complete with balconies, is situated on the edge of the development with a row of six smaller blocks stretching across the rest of the development plot, towards Ascot Road Community Free School.
Over the coming years, even taller towers will be built in Watford, such as one of 28 storeys on the site formerly The Range in St Albans Road, as well as 25 storeys in Clarendon Road.
