Matty Whichelow scored a hat-trick as a strong Watford XI beat Wycombe Wanderers 4-2 this afternoon.
Piero Mingoia also scored a penalty for the Hornets at their London Colney training base.
Watford first team manager Sean Dyche said: "The lads were terrific, it was a terrific team performance."
The Hornets named a strong side, with the experienced David Mirfin playing the full match and Lloyd Doyley featuring for 70 minutes.
Ross Jenkins, Adam Thompson, Tom James and Jonathan Bond were among those that also played in the match.
