Saracens and Scotland forward Kelly Brown will miss the Six Nations after dislocating his fibula.
Brown suffered the leg injury during Sarries' win in Treviso and he will require surgery which could sideline him for up to ten weeks.
The 29-year-old was poised to captain his country during next month's Six Nations but will be forced to sit out the competition after his injury setback.
