Teachers and young leaders from the Three Rivers School Sports Partnership have undergone a tag rugby coaching day from Premiership champions Saracens.
Sarries award winning community coaches imparted their knowledge and skills to those in attendance, so their school can compete at their local tag rugby festivals.
The coaching day is part of a wider tag rugby programme run by Saracens aimed at increasing participation in rugby at grass roots level across Hertfordshire and North London.
It is hoped that by teaching tag rugby through fun games and exercises, teachers in schools will help inspire potential star players for the future.
Chris Hambleton from the Three Rivers and Watford Schools Sport Partnership said: “We have been working with Saracens now for six years and they have really helped transform the profile of rugby and tag rugby.”
