Little Hay Golf Club first medal competition of the New Year was won in impressive fashion by Nick Pinnock.
Good scores were achieved throughout Division One but Pinnock claimed first place after scoring 66 and achieving the lowest gross score.
In second place was Mick Whelan with 69 while Richard Robinson was just behind on 70.
In Division Two Steve Sibbert took first place with 65 just in front of Chris Harper (68) and Glen Mason (69).
The club’s winter league entered its fifth and despite heavy frost covering much of the course.
The best score of the day was 42 stableford points achieved by Andy and Alison Sexton.
Their display put them into tenth position while the top of the leaderboard remained unchanged with Mick and Gary Whelan still ahead on 211 points.
On Monday the Senior Men and the Ladies held a combined Greensome which was won by Linda Cusick and John Ridgewell with 44 points.
