The immediate futures of Watford loan duo Rene Gilmartin and Gavin Massey are not expected to be affected by the unusual turn of events at Yeovil Town.
Last week the loan spells of both players were extended until the end of the month but yesterday previous boss Terry Skiverton was demoted to assistant manager, with Gary Johnson returning as number one.
Johnson is a fans' favourite among Glovers supporters after guiding the club from the Conference to League in his initial spell between 2001 and 2005.
Skiverton admitted the demotion was tough to take but he accepted Johnson's return was probably best for the club. The 36-year-old has been at Yeovil for 12 years and was captain under Johnson.
Gilmartin has impressed in goal for Yeovil and Massey, who has been at Huish Park for most of this season, has scored three goals in sixteen appearances.
