First-year scholar Tommie Hoban is the latest Watford academy player to sign a professional contract with the club.
Hoban made his first team debut against Preston North End on Saturday but the club were keen to stress the centre back will still be treated as a scholar next season and the pro deal is more to “protect the player and the club”.
Watford have also confirmed midfielder Chez Isaac officially signed a six-month professional contract yesterday, following last month’s initial announcement.
