Zak Green was the shoot-out hero for Everett Blue as the WFL put on a big day of 17 finals at his club’s own ground in Watford.

He saved two of the spot-kicks as his team beat Whetstone Pumas in the League Cup Final.

The game finished 1-1, with Kieran Topping scoring. Then Topping, Matthew Dudziak-Lynch, Andre Campos and Kyal Williams found the net in the decider.

There will be another festival of football at Everett this Sunday, with the league staging another 18 of its finals.

AC Finchley North beat London Maccabi Tigers 5-3 on penalties after drawing 1-1 after extra time in the Spring Cup Final.

Tommy Smith scored during normal time, with the successful penalties coming from Callum Conway-Shaw, Smith, Reece Morley, Kevin Van Der Geest and Theo Madekurozwa.

Under-18

Alfie Fox was another goalkeeping hero as Garston Boys won the Spring Cup Final.

He saved two penalties as his team won a shoot-out decider 4-1 after drawing 1-1. Lewis Judge headed the goal in normal time, while Vinnie Harkin, Sam Holmes, Aiden Bigley and Callum Wright converted from the spot in the decider.

Abbots Yellow won the League Cup with a 4-1 win over London Colney North thanks to goals from star performer Tom Bambury, Paul Insley, Danny Loveday and Josh Rose.

The Yellows play in the Challenge Cup Final on Sunday and are still battling for the Red Division title.

Strikes from Jack Elkins, Rob Smith, Harry Webb from the spot, Oli Hammond, Luke Carmen and Luke Hatherall stood alongside an own goal as Chorleywood Black beat Herons 7-1 in league action.

Under-16

Red Division winners Omonia Green powered home in the League Cup Final, beating AC Finchley South 3-1 thanks to two goals from Andreas Kyprianou, a single from Brian Betancurt and a man-of-the-show from right-back Kevin Tauta.

Last season they won the Middlesex Cup and they now have three League Cups to their name.

Northwood downed Alexandra West 2-1 in the Spring Cup Final thanks to Jack Sutch and Shaun Hylton.

Right-back Daniel Jones and keeper Joe Tobias starred for a side who have now accumulated four league titles and four cups.

Under-15

Two goals each from Flo Bojaj and Adam Woodhouse gave Borehamwood Youth Lions the Spring Cup to add to their Yellow Division title, with a 4-2 win over Croxley Cougars.

Edson beat Chorleywood Scorpions 2-0 in the League Cup Final thanks to goals from Todd Soughan and Patrick Okolie.

Two Cameron Clark goals gave Abbots Yellow their 3-1 win over Hadley in league action, with Steve Ward completing the scoring and keeper Jonathan Harris starring.

Bedmond won 3-2 at Cassiobury Clarets thanks to two goals from Clement Asante, a single from Lewis Pearse and a man-of-the-match show from Kevin Brown.

Under-14

St Albans Rangers Red took the Spring Cup Final with a 2-1 success against London Maccabi Lions as James Aviles and star performer Brendon Katurura found the net for a result that was the reversal of both league fixtures.

Alex Williams and Michael Rose goals gave Whetstone Pumas their 2-0 win over Omonia Green in the League Cup Final, with Daniel Matzusaka starring.

Their team lead the Red Division and they play the Challenge Cup final this week.

Under-13

St Albans City North won the League Cup by overcoming Chorleywood Dynamite 3-2 thanks to goals from Akim Akinbinu, Joe Lowthian and star performer Stuart Peet. They were also runners-up in the Red Divsion.

White Division champions Alexandra North downed Omonia Green 4-2 in the Spring Cup Final after two goals from Akeem Walcott, alongside singles from Thrae Redway and Dean Jones.

Nicholas Poyiadgi and Dino Constantinou scored for Omonia, who finished as runners-up in the Blue Division.

Under-12

Harvesters North drew first blood as they and Cassiobury Pumas fight out two cup finals and battle for the Red Division title.

Tom Goodall and Micky White gave them a lead before Rohan Finnegan’s made the final score in the League Cup Final 2-1.

Omonia Green beat Aldenham Tigers 4-1 in extra-time to take the Spring Cup thanks to a hat-trick from JJ Ofilli and a single from Alex Nicalaou.

Under-11

Middlesex Cup winners Whetstone Pumas downed Alexandra North 2-1 to win the League Cup thanks to goals from Daniel Gallin and Luke Constantinou, alongside a starring role from keeper Andrew Lister.

They are battling for the Red Division title and also play in this week’s Challenge Cup Final.

In league action, Sun Postal Yellow came from 2-0 down, with goals from Elliot Greig, star player Ross Benton and Ricardo Perez, to take a 3-2 lead, only for Edson to equalise late on and make the final result 3-3.

Man-of-the-match and skipper Jack Miller and midfielder Tom Lane starred as Everett fought back to draw 1-1 against Berkhamstead Red in their last league match, with Cameron Rowe providing the goal from 30 yards.

Harvesters South beat Alexandra Palace 2-0 thanks to goals from Oliver Russell and Joe Vance.

Under-10

Harvesters North won the first leg of a possible treble by beating Croxley Guild 5-1 in the League Cup Final thanks to a hat-trick from William Brothwood and two goals from Finbar King.

Hadley Wood Herons beat Everett Amber 2-0 to win the Spring Cup via goals from Harry Foreman and Archie Garber, with Mario Inzani starring.

Harvesters East stay top of the Green Division after beating Croxley Guild 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Ross Weaver and a strike from Ben Robinson.
