Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has been named in the provisional England Under-21 squad for this summer’s European Championship in Demark.
Loach, who has played every minute for Watford in the league this season, is joined in the 40-man squad by four former Hornets loanees - Chelsea’s Jack Cork, Manchester United’s Tom Cleverley, Arsenal’s Henri Lansbury and Tottenham winger Danny Rose.
England have named a strong squad for the tournament with six full internationals included in the provisional squad, including Jack Wilshere, Andy Carroll and Jordon Henderson.
The final 23-man group will be named on June 1 with the squad heading out to Denmark a week later.
The tournament lasts two weeks and England’s group includes Spain (June 12), Ukraine (15 June) and Czech Republic (19 June).
The Three Lions are ranked number one in Europe and are the only side in the competition who have qualified for the last three tournaments.
