Watford have made two changes for this afternoon’s clash with league-leaders Queens Park Rangers.

Marvin Sordell’s two goals on Monday has ensured the striker returns to the starting XI in place of the injured Andreas Weimann and Will Buckley makes his first start in five matches, as Piero Mingoia drops to the bench.

Scholars Sean Murray and Britt Assombalonga are included on what is a very young Watford bench.

QPR were forced into a late change as goalkeeper Paddy Kenny was injured in the warm-up so Radek Cerny was promoted to the starting line-up.

Rangers included two Watford legends in their XI in Heidar Helguson and Tommy Smith and former Hornet Danny Shittu is also on the bench.

Whilst the pending FA hearing may change things, QPR could be promoted with a point this afternoon and unless something dramatic happens, a draw should be enough for the title also, due to their superior goal average.
