Radlett completed a 65-run win over Hemel Hempstead at Heath Park.

G Mokdena hit a half-century (56) while Shane Burger found his form with 51 as Radlett scored at a rate of five an over. John Barr finished unbeaten on 54 as Radlett posted 229 for seven. Hemel’s Ifzal Nawaz looked sharp with figures of three for 17.

Hemel started off at the required rate and looked in good nick after scoring 110 for two. Brett Penney struck 51 and Riccy Mohamed managed ascore of 48 but Hemel fell away as they were all out for 164.

Radlett Seconds beat Hemel Hempstead Seconds by six wickets at Cobden Hill.

Liam Jahn hit form for Hemel with his first half-century of the season (51). Giles Berry opened with 39 and there were contributions from Graham Clark (20) and Kam Akhtar (27) as they reached 220 for seven.

But Radlett’s batting was far too strong for their opponents as Matt Lewis hit 67. The hosts had few problems losing just four wickets on their way to the target.

Hemel Hempstead Thirds lost to Datchworth by four wickets.

Charlie Hoskins showed encouraging form as he hit 57 while Will Langley’s 30 helped Hemel reach 170 for seven. Scott Radcliffe and Matt Bateman each claimed two wickets but Datchworth still reached their target with seven overs to spare.

Hemel Fourths lost to Hawridge and Cholesbury by five wickets.

There were not enough runs for Hemel with opener Jim Birnie top scoring with 23 in their meagre total of 98 all out.

Luke Minett and Owen McGinty both took two wickets but Hawridge had few problems chasing down the target.
