Three Watford Harriers took part in yesterday’s London Marathon.
Nicoleta Economu was the star performer who finally reaped the benefit of all her hours of training to cross the line in 3.47.41 which was a personal best by about ten minutes.
Duncan Martin went through half way in 81 minutes, a sensible pace for his ability, but after suffering a fall at 22 miles still battled on to finish in a time of 2.51.28.
The other finisher was Tony Williams who came closest of the three to even pace running as he clocked a time of 3.37.40.
