Watford have no fresh injury concerns going into’s tomorrow’s trip to Leeds United and Malky Mackay is expecting both teams to “go for it” as the play-off chase heads towards its conclusion.
Leeds currently occupy the final play-off spot with five games remaining and seven points separate United and 11th-placed Watford.
The Hornets, who have lost the two meetings since they beat United in the 2006 Championship play-off final, would need to produce a stunning late surge if they are to make the top six but Mackay insists his side will attempt to win every game regardless of their league position.
He said: “You saw on Tuesday night that both teams went for it and it will be the same again on Saturday. My team will go out with the right attitude.
“There is not much between the top teams and we will promise our supporters we will go into every game looking to win the game.”
Stephen McGinn is out for the remainder of the season and Dale Bennett and Michael Bryan are also expected to miss out once more, with illness and a thigh injury respectively.
Manager of the Month for March Mackay said: “We have a couple of knocks and bruises but nothing that will hinder our preparations so it should be the same group as Tuesday night.”
