Malky Mackay has won the Championship Manager of the Month award for March.
The Watford boss scooped the prize after guiding his side back into play-off contention with wins at home to Millwall and Sheffield United, a victory at Ipswich Town and an impressive draw at promotion-chasing Swansea City.
The Hornets took ten points out of a possible 15 last month and they would have gone through the month unbeaten were it not for the 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough prior to the international break.
Mackay beat Reading’s Brian McDermott, Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill and Bristol City manager Keith Millen to land the award.
