Garston Ladies Under-10’s clinched the league title with a convincing 4-0 win over Kings Langley Belles.

After a goalless first half, Garston took charge of the game and an Elle Bird brace and goals from Amy Walsh and Trixi Robinson-Tuckey proved too much for the Belles.

The win keeps the girls’ hopes of a remarkable treble well and truly alive, with the League and County Cup finals to come in May.

Libby Poster scored a hat-trick as Garston Ladies U-9’s eased to a 4-1 win over St Albans City at Bushey Met Police Club.

Jamie Lewis was also on target as Garston overpowered the opposition in their one-sided victory.

Garston’s U-11’s faced Borehamwood in an enthralling double header. The first game finished goalless and, after going behind in the second match, Garston came storming back and secured a well-earned draw thanks to a deflected Charli Dormer strike.

It was seventh heaven for the U-12’s as the girls rediscovered their early season form with a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Harpenden Colts.

Molly Lucas opened the scoring in the first half with her first goal for Garston and that was the sign for the floodgates to open. Six Jade Roberts goals completed the rout and took the striker’s tally to 37 for the season.

The U-13 Mets travelled to Stevenage and matched the efforts of the U-12’s in recording a 7-0 win. A Jordan Littleboy hat-trick, two from Ella McLeod and goals from Lauren Berryman and player of the match Ami Wareham proved too much for an understrength Stevenage side.

It was a classic game of two halves for Garston Ladies U-15’s on Sunday. Leading Headstone Manor 3-1 at half time, thanks to goals from Shaneece William-Davidson, Steph Allen and Steph Plested, Garston seemed to have set up a rare win but the girls crumbled in the second half eventually going down 7-3.
