The two Watford matches rescheduled in the last week will land the Hornets £110,000, the Watford Observer understands.
However, the money is not seen as extra income as every Championship club are guaranteed a live home and away game in a season and we understand the income is already included in the budget.
On Monday it was announced Watford’s home game with Portsmouth on New Years Day has been moved to 5.20pm as it will be shown live on Sky Sports.
And Watford confirmed last Friday the match at league-leaders Queens Park Rangers has been brought forward a day to Friday, December 10 as the clash will be aired on the BBC.
We understand the QPR match will earn Watford £10,000 and the Hornets are entitled to £100,000 from the Portsmouth game.
