FORMER England striker Les Ferdinand has signed for Watford.
The 38-year-old ex QPR, Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham forward has been training with the Hornets squad since July, and has now signed on a non-contract basis. The hugely experienced player will provide another option to Adrian Boothroyd's already potent looking forward line.
The Watford boss has also moved to increase his options in midfield by signing Carl Fletcher on a month's loan from West Ham.
For more news on these deals, further reflections on a special night at Vicarage Road and a preview of this weekend's top-of-the-table clash with Sheffield United, don't miss this week's edition of the Watford Observer.
