WATFORD could have two new faces on show tomorrow (Saturday, August 20) when they face Burnley after Adrian Boothroyd made two new signings this morning.
As expected, experienced centre-half Malky Mackay has signed for the Hornets as a free agent after having his contract at West Ham cancelled by mutual consent yesterday.
But the Hornets boss has also swooped to bring former Luton Town midfielder Matthew Spring to Vicarage Road. The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal after completing a £150,000 switch from Leeds.
Boothroyd has also revealed that he has turned down an offer from Blackburn for keeper Richard Lee.
