RAY LEWINGTON is keen to progress in the FA Cup against Fulham but admits: "While we want to progress, we don't want a replay. That is the last thing we need. Naturally we are concerned about the League position and after the cup ties, we have to get on with that."
The Watford boss regards the cup tie as a welcome break, however, for Watford need to regroup and face the League challenge ahead.
"The game before and the game after a big high-profile cup game are usually the biggest problems. We haven't played well in our last four games - Coventry was the last time we played well or at the very least, competed. Even when we have not been on song, we have competed but, in the last three or four games, players have looked frustrated. We have got too big a swing in our performances. That is the one worrying thing.
"Whether this is down to injuries, tiredness, the thought of cup games or whatever, we have to shake ourselves out of it. It is very, very tight.
"There are so many sides down there, it is easy to move away with a couple of wins. It is a very competitive league and Cardiff have had a couple of good results and I can't believe Forest are to stay down there.
"I think the strength of the squad will be a deciding factor."
