STAFF and players from Watford were joined by some of Manchester United's biggest names at the funeral of Jimmy Davis yesterday (Thursday, August 21).

Around 500 people gathered at the service in the 21-year-old's home town of Redditch, including Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Real Madrid's David Beckham, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Roy Keane.

The England Under-20 international, who joined the Hornets on a year's loan from the Premiership champions, died when his BMW collided with a lorry on the M40 in the early hours of Saturday, August 9.
