World Cup winning coach Jake White has been offered a short-term contract with Saracens.

The 44-year-old has been out of work since guiding South Africa to World Cup glory last year.

White is a friend of Sarries' director of rugby Eddie Jones and he has been offered the chance to help out with the Men in Black.

White said: "Saracens have offered me a contract to work there for a week or two and McGeechan, at Wasps, has offered me a similar deal.

"Now I'm suddenly faced with a choice, which was something I didn't have, or didn't seek, for almost a year."
