A referee is due to take charge of a match involving Watford for a third time this season as they aim to make it six successive home wins on Saturday.
The EFL website has stated that Andrew Kitchen has been appointed as the man in the middle for the12.30pm kick-off against Queens Park Rangers.
This will be the first time Kitchen has officiated at Vicarage Road this season. His two previous Hornets matches were both away and both ended in defeat – the 3-0 loss at Preston North End and the 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United.
The referee has taken charge of ten league and cup matches in the current campaign, issuing a total of 41 yellow cards and one red.
Daniel Leach and Matthew Jones are due to be the assistant referees for the lunchtime fixture, with Thomas Parsons the fourth official.
The Hoops will make the short trip to Hertfordshire buoyed by last night’s 2-0 victory at Cardiff City which moved them off the bottom of the table.
