It is a finish that has already spawned numerous social media memes and is a video clip that has been on repeat in Watford-supporting households all over the country.
But while Vakoun Bayo's sumptuous and almost impudent chip to complete his hat-trick at Hillsborough was a thing of beauty, it came as a result of meticulous planning on the part of Tom Cleverley and his analysts.
Clutching the matchball with his perma-smile even more widely spread across his face, Bayo explained how they had researched what Owls keeper James Beadle might do in just that sort of situation.
"We had watched some video of their goalkeeper before, and we talked with the manager about him and we knew he goes down sometimes," said the striker.
"So the manager said to me if we get one to one with the goalkeeper, don't quickly hit it on the floor, think about if you can shoot over him.
"Then when I got the chance I did it, and it was perfect."
Bayo had been a surprise taker of Watford's second penalty.
"Normally when Tom Dele-Bashiru isn't playing then Edo takes the penalty kicks but with this one I said please give me this penalty," Bayo explained.

"So I thank Edo for doing that, because I wanted to have some confidence because for some time I hadn't scored.
"For my second goal I knew Giorgi was going to do that cross, and the third one I was feeling confident because already I had two goals.
"The fourth goal, I could not miss that one! I was so confident.
"It is very special for me.
"I think it is the second time now in my career that I get three goals so I am very happy for myself, but also for the team that we won this game away.
"It was a good reward for me because I think I did a lot for the team, and the team always tries for me also.
"I am always happy to work for this team."
Bayo said he had to be patient and persevere during a challenging first 45 minutes.
"The first half was a little bit tough, especially in the channels because they were following our runs," he explained.
"I think in the second half that maybe the defenders were getting a little bit tired, so I took over and I was happy to run hard and score some goals."
As ever, Bayo's celebrations were fun to watch.
"The celebrations with our fans were amazing, really good," he grinned.
"Normally I like to go to the supporters when I score.
"They were here to support us again and so I was happy to celebrate with them."
