Jeremy Ngakia is the only new injury doubt as Watford prepare to face Derby County at Vicarage Road tomorrow.
“Jeremy will be a doubt for the weekend,” said Tom Cleverley.
“Hopefully it’s nothing too serious because he has worked really hard to shrug off his injury problems.
“It’s just a slight muscle problem, and it will be a late decision on whether he can be involved.”
Ngakia has started the season playing on the left despite being predominantly right-footed.
“I quite like the unpredictable nature of playing a right footer out on the left,” the Watford boss pointed out.
“If you play two wing-backs, then players know that most times they are going to go wide and round the outside.
“So sometimes I like the balance Jeremy offers and when we get the ball wide he can go inside or outside.
“It’s not a fluke we put them him there because we had Ken Sema available as well, but I thought Jeremy has been excellent.”
When Ngakia went off at half-time against Stoke City, loan signing Yasser Larouci took his place and impressed again.
“He’s an exciting one. He’s come in, played about 70 minutes of football, got two assists and been involved in a lot of good play,” said Cleverley.
“He’s a really good character and the early signs are very good.
“Credit to where the squad is at. The lads who are not playing are ready to come in, and meanwhile they’re learning the role and what we expect.
“Then when they’re called upon they’re absolutely ready.
“That is a sign of a really strong and healthy squad environment, as well as respect amongst each other.
“Hopefully it continues because it is a winning environment.”
Ryan Porteous, who dropped to the bench last weekend because of illness, is fit again and available for selection.
“Ryan has shrugged the illness off. That was more a precautionary situation last weekend. He’s available for selection,” Cleverley explained.
