A charity of which Watford's greatest ever manager Graham Taylor was a patron is supporting the annual Taylor Trek this year.
The Hornets' Community Sports and Education Trust has organised the Taylor Trek for the past two years, raising funds for the trust.
This year they will join forces with Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, with money raised shared equally between the two charities.
Accountancy firm Mercer & Hole will continue their support for a third consecutive year.
The Taylor Trek, sponsored by Mercer & Hole, is a charity walk around Watford, starting and finishing at Vicarage Road Stadium, with a pitch-side walk.
The event celebrates Graham Taylor OBE's immense contribution to the Hornets and the community.
It was created in collaboration with trust patrons, the Taylor family.
Leah Crocket, events and marketing officer at the trust, said: "We’ve seen the power of collaboration, most recently with our Stadium Sleepout event, so we were keen to expand our Taylor Trek family.
"Rennie Grove Peace was the obvious choice, given the joint link with Graham Taylor, and the fantastic community support they give to many of the same communities as us.
"We look forward to working together to make this the best year yet."
The Taylor Trek has three routes of varying distances, ranging from three to 18 miles.
Tickets are priced at £25 for adults and £10 for children.
Tracey Hancock, director of fundraising at Rennie Grove Peace, said: "We are deeply grateful to Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust for their support and partnership through The Taylor Trek.
"Graham Taylor was a cherished patron of Peace Hospice Care for many years, and we are honoured to keep alive the meaningful connection he fostered between the football club and our hospice care.
"This event not only pays tribute to his legacy but the funds raised will be vital for sustaining our services and ensuring we can continue providing compassionate care to our local community."
The Taylor Trek, sponsored by Mercer & Hole, is due to take place on Sunday, October 13, and bookings are now open via watfordfccsetrust.com/the-taylor-trek.
