Wheelchair basketball star Helen Freeman is set to compete at her fifth Paralympics Games after being named in the Great Britain squad for Paris 2024.
The Watford-born athlete is her country’s most experienced female player in the sport, having also debuted as the youngest member aged 18 in Beijing in 2008.
The 34-year-old also competed at the Games in London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 and will be hoping to help Britain secure their first ever Paralympic wheelchair basketball medal when the Games get underway on August 28.
The former Rickmansworth School pupil has won ten major medals with Britain, including three silvers and six bronze at European level and a World Championship silver in 2018.
