Those Watford fans who have longed for the return of red shorts will be very happy this lunchtime after the Hornets unveiled their full home kit for the 2024/25 season.
The club released the design of their new home shirt this morning – and it has now been revealed the predominantly yellow shirt will be accompanied by red shorts for the first time in 13 years.
This will be the first time red shorts have been officially part of the home kit since the 2011/12 season, although the Hornets memorably wore them towards the end of the 2014/15 season when they were promoted to the Premier League for the first time in the Pozzo era.
Red shorts are also synonymous with some of the greatest moments in Hornets history as the club recalled in this video as the second part of today's new kit launch.
