North Watford, the runners-up and the winners of this Watford Sunday League competition for the last two seasons, are the first club through to the semi-finals this year, but only after they were given a massive fright by Third Division Carpenders Park Royals.
After being held to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, North Watford won through 6-5 on penalties.
Ashley Harewood netted for North Watford with George Dalling replying for Royals.
Premier Division
It was a good morning for FC Unicorn who took four points from a possible six from their double header local derby with Abbots Langley Club.
The first game ended in a 1-1 draw with Elliot Hutchings scoring for Unicorn and Elijah Kefas heading the reply for Abbots.
The second game was a more open affair with Unicorn running out 3-2 winners.
Ben Knights netted both of the Abbots goals with strikes from inside the area, but it was Unicorn who took all three points thanks to efforts from Louis McNamara, Sam Hutchings and Danny Warwick.
The four points moved them off the bottom of the table above Forza Watford, who are now at the basement.
Division One
Langleybury and CF Watford Continentals produced a seven-goal thriller, with the visitors running out 4-3 winners.
Continentals took an early lead when Mathew Shaw dribbled through and finished a one on one with the keeper.
Langleybury were quick to equalise after capitalising on a corner which their opponents failed to clear and Matt Honey struck.
The home side went ahead early in the second half through Oliver Ilott, but they didn’t hold the advantage for long as Andre Walters soon fired in a leveller.
Joe Belloni then put CF back ahead with a good finish from close range and Damian Jastrzemski made it 4-2 following a swift counter-attack.
The drama was not over as in the final ten minutes, CF lost two players to sin bins, and Langleybury managed to pull a goal back thanks to a Tom Hedger penalty but Continentals held on for the win.
Division Two
The double header between two of the promotion contenders, West Herts and Frances George, ended in a draw and a vital win for George.
The first game ended in a 1-1 draw with Jason Topping netting for the Stags and Tom Minto replying for George.
The second game was a high-scoring affair as George ran out 5-3 winners thanks to goals from Dexter Franklin-Beck with a brace, and one apiece for Elliot Kay-Jessop, Daniel Watts and Adam Willden.
Dylan Caton, Roscoe Tebbs and Stephen Clunie replied for West Herts.
At the other end of the table, the two games between two sides fighting to stay in the division produced two draws.
The first between Inter and Abbots Wanderers was a goalless draw, whilst the second ended 2-2, Johnny Vassey and Andy Denyer netting for Wanderers with Ion Vranceanu and Sorin Craciun replying for Inter.
Division Three
Surely Wood, who started the morning third from bottom in the table, caused a surprise as they beat second-placed FC Railway 2-0 through a Brett Fincham effort and an own goal.
With FC Railway’s shock defeat, it means Woodside Reserves have opened up an eight-point advantage at the summit after they beat Everett Rovers Reserves 3-1.
Lui Potiuk, Josh Towle and Joe McCarthy scored for the home side with Cody Chamberlain netting the consolation goal for the visitors.
