Security at a Sunday League football club's ground may be bolstered after a player's car was broken into during a game.
Everett Rovers FC were playing on Sunday, February 18, when a car window was smashed in the club car park while they were facing fellow Watford club Dunnings Bar.
Police confirmed a blue Vauxhall was broken into at the site in Dodd Road, near the A41 North Western Avenue, between 9.45am to 3.30pm. Kick-off for the match was at 10.30am.
The victim, a man in his 20s, reported that his wallet and clothes were stolen.

An Everett Rovers spokesperson said: “Our message to our members is to not leave valuables on display and to be vigilant when leaving their cars unattended.
“The club will be looking at measures to make the site more secure.”
Police have appealed for anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference number 41/14446/24.
The match finished with the Rovers beating Dunnings Bar 5-1.
