Only four Watford Sunday League games survived at the weekend after the previous few days of heavy rain the area.
Premier Division
Two of the matches that were played took place in the top flight and the big result saw Glenn Sports defeat St Josephs 3-0.
Lewis Putman opened the scoring before Chris Blunden doubled the lead before the break.
Frankie Henley sealed the win in the second half.
Abbots Langley Club gained a third league victory of the season with a 6-0 win over the team directly below them in the table Forza Watford.
They opened the scoring when Ozzie Ogbebor set up Kachi Njoku who slotted home into the bottom right corner of the net.
He doubled the lead soon after, then Mark Roddick scored a header for the third following a free-kick by Ollie Lawford.
A fourth followed before the interval when a Callum Wilson free-kick was headed in by a Forza defender.
The second half saw Alieu Gibril and Lawford complete the scoring.
Division One
Watford United defeated Batchworth 3-1.
Harry Lloyd gave the division’s bottom-placed team the lead 25 minutes into the first half following a swift counter attack, but in the second half United hit back to seal the win after Mayvin Vigneswaran scored in the first two minutes of the half.
Adam Anwar’s double gave United the points which saw move up into fourth place in the table.
Division Three
The only game played in the basement division saw Bricket Wood Acorns beat PTH United 4-0 with George Davies, Jack Micklewright, Bradley O’Connor and Harrison Fisher netting the goals.
