A fan has been banned from football matches for three years after throwing a bottle towards the pitch at Vicarage Road.
Billy Martin, of Tilia Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, was handed the three-year Football Banning Order on August 30 after throwing the “missile” on March 14, 2023.
Watford beat Birmingham 3-0 on that date and the away side were booed off the pitch by supporters.

A football banning order prohibits a person from entering any premises for the purpose of attending matches. It may also include additional requirements.
One requirement attached to the specific order was that he could not enter a set area within three hours either side of a Birmingham City home match.
According to court documents, Cannock Magistrates' Court was “satisfied that there are reasonable grounds to believe” that an order for the 29-year-old would help prevent violence or disorder.
Martin was fined £166 and ordered to pay £135 in costs as well as a £66 victim services surcharge after admitting to the offence.
