A 16-year-old schoolboy has described signing for Manchester City FC as a "dream come true."
Luca Fletcher is now a scholar in the U18s squad and is set to begin a full-time programme with daily training combined with education in the coming academic year.
A £600,000 fee with future add-ons for the teenager, who made his international debut in December last year, has been reported.
The striker had impressed early on at York House School, in Sarratt Road, just outside Croxley Green where he studied from nursery to Year 8.

The school’s director of sport Will Woodford said: “It was always clear that Luca had a bright sporting future as he shone in all sporting areas, but perhaps the earliest and clearly remarkable attribute was his extraordinary pace.
“He left other pupils standing in his slipstream and there were plenty of quick runners in his year at the time.”
He has previously played for some local grassroots clubs’ youth teams and most recently for Reading FC, after signing at the age of 12.
