Ten-year-old Hornets fan Bella had "butterflies" when Watford FC star Ken Sema gave her his shirt after the 4-0 home win on Saturday.
The midfielder helped his team top the Championship table after the thumping victory against QPR on the new season's opening weekend.
Bella-Anne Woodsall, from Watford, was handed his shirt after the match as her cousin was holding a sign trying to get Sema's attention.
She said: "I am his number one fan, it gave me butterflies when he gave me his shirt, I couldn't stop shaking."
She was watching the game at Vicarage Road with her mum and other members of her family who all support the Hornets.
Her mum, Ria Bignell added: "It was such a magical moment, we were so emotional as she had been trying all of last season to get his shirt but now it has finally happened."
Sema went to hand the shirt to Bella-Anne's cousin Blue but the family explained that it was for Bella as she is one of his biggest fans.

Bella-Anne had previously been sent a birthday message from the player and now is the proud owner of his shirt.
The Hornets continue their Championship campaign at home against newly promoted Plymouth Argyle on Saturday. But that's after they travel to Stevenage tomorrow in the Carabao Cup.
