Despite facing varied weather conditions at picturesque Whitlingham Country Park in Norwich, including rain showers and the looming threat of storms, the club's open water squad proved their mettle against other competitors from the Swim England East Region.
The four challenging distances of 1k, 2k, 3k, and 5k were all swum throughout the day, each requiring its own blend of stamina, tactics and mental strength.

The club's delighted open water coach said: "I am thrilled with the results; they are a great squad who have trained hard together at Denham waterski lake, plus we’ve had plenty of fun along the way."
The results are not only a testament to their individual abilities but also a reflection of the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that prevails within the club.
The swimmers' dedication to their sport and their ability to support and motivate each other played a significant role in their impressive performances.
