Georgian international Giorgi Chakvetadze is close to completing a move to Vicarage Road, the Watford Observer understands.
The 23-year-old, who can play as a left winger or attacking midfielder, is set to join on the Hornets on a season-long loan from KAA Gent, with an option to make the move permanent.
He is poised to follow Rhys Healey, Tom Ince and latest recruit Jake Livermore in joining Valerien Ismael’s side, as the Hornets continue to reshape their squad ahead of the start of the new Championship campaign.

- Hornets transfer ban due to 'admin misunderstanding'
As we reported earlier, the Hornets have been placed under an international transfer ban by world governing body FIFA, but they are optimistic what has been described as an administrative matter will be resolved shortly.
Chakvetadze came through the youth ranks at Dinamo Tbilisi, making his professional debut at the age of 17 and scored five goals in 26 appearances in his first season.
He moved to the Belgian outfit and after being eased into the first-team picture in his first season, he made 27 appearances in 2018/19, scoring six times.
Knee injuries halted his progress for much of the next two seasons and he then saw his opportunities limited at Gent, which led to a loan move to SV Hamburger in January 22.
Chakvetadze spent last season on loan at Slovan Bratislava, helping them to win the Slovakan league title. He also played in eight Europa Conference League titles after the club failed to get through qualifying for the Champions League and Europa League.
Capped at all ages group from Under-16 to senior level by Georgia, Chakvetadze has so far won 16 inetrnational caps and scored seven goals.
