Hot on the heels of last month’s fans’ forum with Gino Pozzo, supporters have another chance to meet and question some senior club figures next month.
The first of the season’s informal question and answers sessions for Watford fans to quiz members of the club’s senior leadership team – known as At Your Place – will be held at the London Colney training ground on Thursday August 10 from 6.30pm.
At Your Place was popular and successful when it ran in the past, and it was something chairman Scott Duxbury committed to hold again when asked at the recent fans’ forum.
- 'We had to beat Spain twice to win the Euros!'
- What's happening with Pussetto, Fletcher and Okoye?
- Only £4 for a 4-month WO digital subscription
This season opener will focus on football, although other future At Your Place events may major on different topics, and may also be held out in the community, hence the name.
The five-strong panel will be formed of Head Coach Valérien Ismaël, Sporting Director Cristiano Giaretta, Technical Director Ben Manga, the as-yet undecided new club captain, and Duxbury himself.
Watford supporters wishing to attend this event will need to submit an email application for one of a limited number of places (around 70 to 75). Each supporter wishing to attend must apply via separate message.
To apply, send an email to the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer Chris Hall (chris.hall@watfordfc.com), stating ‘At Our Place’ in the email subject line, and your Fan ID number in the body of your message.
Applications will be accepted between now and the end of Sunday July 23, after which time a ballot will occur and places offered accordingly.
