Watford will now play QPR at Vicarage Road on the opening day of the season after the two clubs agreed to switch the venues of their two Championship matches.
Rangers are undertaking work on their pitch and asked Watford if they would consider a change to give them more time to be ready.

Watford agreed and the EFL sanctoned the move, and therefore the Hornets will now start the season by hosting QPR at Vicarage Road on Saturday August 5 with a 3pm kick-off.
What that does mean is that the Hornets will now travel to Loftus Road on Saturday January 13 for the reverse fixture.
That game had been scheduled to be the annual Graham Taylor Matchday, but the club will now pick a new date for that special occasion.
In turn, the switch of fixtures gives Watford four consecutive away games in the league in January, as they travel to Plymouth (January 1), Bristol City (January 20) and Sheffield Wednesday (January 27) as well.
Should the Hornets be drawn away in the Third Round of the FA Cup, they will play five consecutive away games in January.
Watford did play six consecutive away games, although it was 115 years ago! Between December 25, 1907, and January 18, 1908, they had five away games in the Southern League and another in the FA Cup.
