Two goalkeepers are among the older Watford Academy players to be offered new contracts.

The Hornets have confirmed new terms have been offered to Under-21 stoppers Alfie Marriott and Myles Roberts, along with defender Aidan Coyne, while midfielder Luigi Gaspar’s contract has been extended to 2025.

Furthermore, a total of eight more Under-18 players could follow Tobi Adeyemo, who put pen to paper on his first professional deal in April, in signing contracts.

These are George Abbott, Hamzat Balogun, James Collins, Charlie Davis, Zak Fraser-Grante, Jack Grieves, Dawid Hamiga and Jonathan Macauley.

One player who was offered professional terms but has decided his future lies elsewhere is Adrian Blake who, as we reported yesterday, is moving to Utrecht.

Also leaving Vicarage Road are Under-21 players Max Delyfer, Jordan Fankwe, Damani Hunter, Adian Manning, JJ McKiernan and Ezio Touray.

Seven Under-18 players will also be moving on at the end of their scholarships: Andres Aguilar, Christos Batzelis, Aaron Benn, Ethan Goulding, Bogdan Marian, Billy Osborn and Harvey Peters.

Watford have thanked all the players who are leaving for their contributions and wish them well for their futures.
