Six new clubs are set to take their place in the Watford Sunday League when the new season kicks off on September 3.
Although the new constitution still has to be formally approved at the annual meeting on June 16, the officers have recommended that Abbots Athletic, Carpenders Park Royals, Everett Rovers Reserves, Surely Wood, Watford United and Watford Youth Sports be accepted into the league.
If the constitution is given the green light – and there are no further changes – there will be four divisions of ten teams when the season gets under way, with champions North Watford bidding to win the Premier Division title for a third year running.
The proposed divisional line-up is as follows:
Premier Division: North Watford; St Josephs; WD Bushey; Evergreen; Cassiobury Rangers; FC Unicorn; Forza Watford; Glenn SSC; SOCA; Woodside.
Division One: Abbots Langley Club; Chalfont Saints; Chess United; Langleybury; Old Fullerians; The Cross; CF Watford Continentals (formerly CF Fajeczka); Watford United (NC); Watford Sports; West Herts.
Division Two: Abbots Wanderers; Batchworth; Dunnings Bar; Dome Bar; Everett Rovers; Frances George; Inter; Sparta Phoenix; St Josephs Reserves; Watford Youth Sports (NC).
Division Three: Abbots Athletic (NC); AFC Watford; Bricket Wood Acorns; Carpenders Park Royals (NC); Chorleywood Club AFC; Everett Rovers Reserves (NC); PTH United; Rio Rovers; Surely Wood (NC).
