Watford supporters have been allocated less than 1,000 tickets for the highly-anticipated derby match at Luton Town on Saturday April 1 at Kenilworth Road.

Any Hornets fan who manages to secure a ticket MUST travel on the club’s official coaches to and from the game.

These will depart from Vicarage Road Stadium and match tickets will only be available to collect before boarding the coaches on the day of the game – they will not be sent out in advance.

Coach travel will cost £15 per person, while match tickets range in price from £30 for adults down to £9 for Under-10s (with discounts for supporters with disabilities in most price brackets).

Tickets will initially go on sale at 12noon on Monday (March 6), with Watford supporters who are in ‘Away Group A+’ (2022/23 Season Ticket holders with 60 or more away match purchases since summer 2014 against a Fan ID record) being the first eligible to purchase.

When Luton lost 4-0 at Vicarage Road in October, they were given 2,000 tickets - the number Luton have given Watford is the maximum allocation they can offer at Kenilworth Road.

Watford season ticket holders and all away match ticket buyers have been sent an email this afternoon outlining the ticket details in full.

If tickets remain after Monday’s sale to those in Away Group A+, they will then go on sale to Away Group A at midday on Tuesday March 7; Away Group B at midday on Wednesday March 8; Away Group C at midday on Thursday March 9; and then Away Group D at midday on Friday March 10.

Tickets for this fixture will not be offered for Away Group E sales or go on general sale.

Subject to availability, ticket sales for the game at Luton Town will finish at 4.00pm on Friday March 31.

On the day of the game (Saturday April 1, kick-off 12.30pm), the Supporter Services Office, located beneath the Rookery Stand, will be open from 9am for match ticket holders to collect their tickets. Photo ID is required to be shown when collecting tickets. The Supporter Services Office will close for match ticket collection at 10.15am.

Coaches for the trip to Kenilworth Road will be ready to depart from Occupation Road at 10.30am, and all seats on them will be unreserved.

Supporters aged under 14 cannot attend without an adult (over 18) accompanying them. Supporters aged under 18 but over 14 wishing to attend without an adult must complete a consent form which is available from the club.

A combination of seating being unreserved and the limited number of tickets available means the club’s regular Junior Hornets Members Area and Designated Seating Area will not be in operation.

Wheelchair and ambulant disabled tickets are available, with a free personal assistant if required.

Wheelchair spaces at Kenilworth Road are in a different area of the ground to the rest of the Watford allocation. These tickets are located with Luton Town supporters in the home section.

A suggested area of seating for ambulant disabled supporters will be set aside within the club’s unreserved allocation. These will only be available to supporters who have notified Watford FC of their requirement.

Online ticket sales of wheelchair and ambulant disabled spaces are not available for this fixture, supporters requiring wheelchair and/or ambulant disabled tickets should call the Supporter Services Office on 01923 223023 to make their purchase.

Any supporters purchasing wheelchair or disabled ambulant tickets will be allocated a space on an accessible coach.

Supporters unable to travel to Kenilworth Road will be able to follow the match on the club’s Hive Live streaming service. Purchase arrangements for Hive Live passes for the game will be announced soon.
