Fitness fanatics and sports club members will have access to the latest equipment as a health club is set to open in the summer.
Entrepreneurs Jon Williams and Tom Edwards acquired the 20,000 square-foot (around three football pitches) West Herts Squash and Fitness site in May, last year.
So far around £3 million has been invested in the new Forest House Health and Wellness club off Park Avenue, Watford.
The first memberships have been made available today (March 1) ahead of a full opening on June 1 this year.
The development, currently entering its final stage, was described as "nature-inspired".
Jon Williams said: “We have taken inspiration from nature and the feeling that everyone needs a place to relax, re-energise, restore and reconnect.

“It is a space where members can prioritise their wellbeing and simplify their life.”
It will include a gym, health lounge, racket spots, a clinic and a wide variety of studios.

West Herts Sports Club owns the land and runs sports clubs at the site including cricket, football and tennis.
It franchised the building out and Forest House will be a separate entity requiring a separate membership.
Chairman Dennis Lock said: “Opening Forest House completes a four-year plan we have had to make the club one of the most well-appointed sports clubs in the county.”
