Two penalties from Adrian Blake helped Watford beat Lincoln City 3-0 to move into the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup.
The tie was originally scheduled for Friday night but fell victim to the sub-zero temperature.
However, the pitch at Lincoln’s LNER Stadium was fine last night, and the young Hornets seized the opportunity to set up a home tie with Everton in the next round. That game will be played in January, date and venue to be confirmed.

Lincoln’s Julian Donnery fired over early on before Blake saw a low shot from the edge of the box deflected wide.
The home side’s keeper Isaac Allen denied Tobi Adeyemo and then, at the other end, Watford stopper Gabriel Ortelli made a stunning double save – he tipped Tayo Tucker’s effort onto the post and then recovered to make a full-stretch block on the rebound.
Eight minutes into the second half Adeyemo was brought down in the box and Blake sent the keeper the wrong way to put Watford in front.
Adeyemo was close to increasing the advantage when he headed just wide, but then in the 77th minute substitute Aaron Benn won a second penalty and Blake scored again, this time with a composed dink down the middle.
Five minutes from time Joshua Mullins sealed the victory when he headed home from a corner.
Watford: Ortelli; Balogun, Batzelis, Davis, Abbot, Mullins, Adu-Poku (Benn 72), Trialist (Aguilar 61), Adeyemo, Grieves (Taylor 84), Blake. Subs not used: Browne, Eames, Casey, Sikiru.
