Young forward Tobi Adeyemo has joined non-league Hitchin Town on a work experience loan until December 25.
The 17-year-old has featured regularly for Omar Riza’s Under-21 team this season, coming on as a sub in the last two Premier League Cup games having started in the Herts Senior Cup win at Hertford Town on November 15.
Adeyemo, who joined the Hornets in October 2018, scored for the Under-21’s in their 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield in October.
He was also on target for the Under-18’s last month as they came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Luton.
He scored against Chelsea in a thrilling FA Youth Cup tie last season as well.
Hitchin are currently sitting ninth in the Southern Premier Division Central (ten places above Kings Langley).
Watford sent an Under-23 side to Hitchin’s Top Field stadium for a friendly in July – the game ended 0-0 and Adeyemo was a second-half substitute for the Hornets.
Hitchin are at home tonight (Monday) against Redditch United (7.45pm kick-off) and then travel to Basford United on Saturday.
