Mat Sadler should be fit to face Bristol City tonight.
That is the verdict of Aidy Boothroyd who withdrew the January signing midway through the second half of last week's clash with Norwich to prevent the left back from aggravating a hamstring problem.
"Mat felt his hamstring so I took him off as pre-caution," said Boothroyd. "He got some treatment and, touch wood, he'll be OK for Bristol."
Midfielder Al Bangura comes "very much back in contention" and he could start ahead of John-Joe O'Toole if Boothroyd decides to provide the back four with extra protection.
Other than that, Watford are expected to be unchanged, meaning Nathan Ellington will partner Darius Henderson in attack.
