Watford youngster JJ McKiernan will spend the rest of the year in the National League.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Hornets from Andover Town in 2018, will play for Eastleigh until January.
The Northern Ireland youth midfielder, who played for the first team in friendlies against Cambridge United and Panathinaikos, spent the back end of last season at Bohemian in the League of Ireland.
Speaking on the Eastleigh website, McKiernan said: "I’ve played with a lot of experienced players, guys that have won the World Cup, guys that have won the Premier League.
"It’s good to pick up little bits from all sorts of players that I play with, especially players who play in my position.
"I hope to bring a lot of energy and willingness to get around the pitch, help us score goals and get into attacking areas.
"I’m hoping to help us get promoted."
