Watford need a reaction at St Mary's today as they face Southampton in the wake of their 4-0 defeat at Wolves.

Here's how I think Roy Hodgson could set his team up this afternoon.

GK: Ben Foster

Despite his errors at Wolves, the manager backed the keeper and said he would keep his faith with him.

RB: Craig Cathcart

Has played at right back before and, with Kiko Femenia going off early in the game at Wolves, he may have to adapt again. However Christian Kabasele filled in well enough at Molineux so could also be called upon today.

CB: Christian Kabasele

I'm expecting him to be involved today, either at centre back or at right back.

CB: Samir

Looked less flimsy after Kabasele was brought on at Molineux. Will need to be much better today.

LB: Hassane Kamara

Has been one of the better performers since his arrival and will keep his place despite a sloppier display at Wolves.

CM: Imran Louza

Is an important link between the defence and attack.

CM: Tom Cleverley

Hodgson said he took him off at Molineux to keep him fresh for today, so I'd expect him to retain his place.

CM: Moussa Sissoko

The manager also singled the captain out for praise and should start again this afternoon.

RW: Joao Pedro

Could come straight back in with Joshua King a doubt once again, should his covid-19 situation be resolved.

LW: Cucho Hernandez

Had a bit of a wobbly display at Wolves, but is still a threat in attack.

ST: Emmanuel Dennis

Has scored only once in his last ten games after an impressive first half of the season. Needs to rediscover his earlier form.
