Sky has come under fire after advertising Watford’s game with Arsenal while picturing Troy Deeney – over six months after he left!
The former Hornets captain signed for Birmingham last August but features alongside Bukayo Saka ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Football fans wasted little time highlighting the blooper on social media.
Never knew Troy Deeney was back at Watford. Thanks sky sports for reminding me. pic.twitter.com/iNNLiAsUEY

Some of Sky’s coverage is a shambles. Not as if Deeney left Watford about 7 month ago pic.twitter.com/XQezyHgi8q

But some saw the funny side given Deeney's past criticism of Arsenal lacking "cojones".
It’s wrong, but it does wind up the Gooners more!

“Watford vs Arsenal on Sunday ain’t it? Deeney mugged them off once so stick him up, he’s still there isn’t he?” #arsenal #watford #deeney pic.twitter.com/c3OM8RXDLm

Meanwhile others questioned whether it was a PR masterstroke or a dig at Watford.
Deeney FC!!! Sky hate us…

Yeah but it looks good for the PR😂😂
