Troy Deeney has left behind a host of memories after leaving Watford but how will you remember his time with the club?
The former captain has signed a two-year contract with boyhood club Birmingham City after moving on from Vicarage Road where he became established as a Watford legend after scoring 140 goals in a total of 419 appearances.
To help recognise the former captain’s considerable contribution to the Hornets during his 11 years at Vicarage Road, we would like you to tell us about your favourite memory of Deeney’s time at the club.
Several candidates spring easily to mind – his goal in the promotion-clinching win at Brighton & Hove Albion, the late penalty in the FA Cup semi-final against Wolverhampton Wanderers to force extra-time and, of course, ‘that’ goal against Leicester City to name but three.
But perhaps your favourite memory is of another goal, or another game?
Or maybe your memory of Deeney’s time as a Hornet is more personal. Perhaps the forward did something special for you or your family that you are happy to share with our readers.
Whatever your favourite memory of Deeney’s 11 years at Watford is, tell us about it via the link below and and we will publish as many as possible over the coming days.
